What is it like growing up in modern day Kuwait 

Growing up in modern day Kuwait, its all about friends and family. And friends that turn into family because of how close you get. In this generation, everybody is close with everybody, everybody knows everybody. We are very social and love doing crazy things together. Friends and family are your number one priority. In modern day Kuwait, you grow up going to the shalaih and wafra (farm), traveling during the summer. Going to places like shaheed and avenues, staying up in the dessert with a fire on winter nights, you grow up listening to allot of Kuwaiti national songs no matter what time fo year it is and the lamest jokes ever. Growing up in Kuwait you are always laughing and are never alone.

Why am I grateful 

I am grateful for many things but the thing I am most grateful for are my friends and family. Without them, life would be so much boring, without them I would never be the fun happy and chill person I am today, without them I would never have done something dangerous or risky to look back at and laugh.

What do you like to do for fun 

For fun, I like to be around my friend and family, we go swimming and tanning, we travel and make crazy videos/tiktoks. We have the craziest water fights and wrestling matches, we make the weirdest dances and go to the weirdest places. You can find my friends and I just running in the streets from my friends house to my other friends house since they are 15 minutes away, we put scary movies and force ourselves to watch them, we do the weirdest dares and eat the weirdest food, everyday, we always find something new to do

How have your parents raised you

My parents have raised me to be respectful to others and always help the people in need. To put my education before anything.They taught me to be independent and if I feel like something is wrong I should speak out (but in a respectful way). They have raised me to always come talk to them if I’m feeling sad or down, to always pour my heart out to them. They raised me to live my life and to not stop when a problem comes my way. They raised me to always have fun and never let anyone let me down. 

Your future goals 

My future goal is to go to college and become an engineer. I hope to have many kids in the future and marry a good guy that will treat me like he should. I want to prioritize my kids before anything and I hope to teach them everything that my parents taught me. When I grow up I want to travel the world as I love seeing new places and discover new things. I hope that I will always have fun and that all my days to come will be incredible.
